Artefacts Series III (Babel)

These collagraph prints are a further development of making my prints more 3D. They are what I term collagraph constructions. In this series every work contains some book fragments and were directly inspired by my work on EXCAVATING BABEL. This series of 12 Artefacts was produced to be shown alongside EXCAVATING BABEL at the Royal West of England Academy, Bristol for the exhibition Celebrating Paper. Eleven of these original twelve were sold during this exhibition. My plan is to further develop these ideas and constructions into some larger works which I hope to have finished later this year.
